Issue Two – Call for writers and visual artists
20×20 magazine is currently inviting submissions from writers and visual artists for the three sections of our forthcoming Issue Two.
WORDS – in the shape of fiction, essays, poetry
VISIONS – drawings, photography, visual projects
the BLENDER – where words and visions cross paths
Issue One was launched in November 2008, you can find samples of its contents here.
Due to the current economic situation we have decided to publish Issue Two of 20×20 magazine in PDF format, which will be downloadable on our website.
Submission guidelines
The magazine format is 20×20 cm, it consists of approximately 70 pages and all graphics are in black and white. The meta-words for issue two are: HUNGER FOR DISTRACTION.
Writers are invited to submit works up to 1,500 words. Please submit up to 3 written pieces or poems.
Visual artists are encouraged to submit images keeping the format of the page in mind. Please send high resolution images (300 dpi).
The deadline for sending submissions for issue two is Monday 30 MARCH 2009, please send material via email to info@20×20magazine.com We regret that at present we are unable to pay authors for their work, however each successful contributor will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine (bear in mind that issue two will be in PDF format).
