20×20magazine at WildeBoekenMarkt (WBM)

20×20 magazine will be represented by PrintROOM at the WildBookMarket (WBM). WBM is being staged during Art Rotterdam 2010.

Opening: 6 February 2010 at 14.00
Location:Het Wilde Weten
WBM is also open on 7 February 2010 from 14.00 to 19.00

Nowadays the art(ist’s) book encompasses and reflects every imaginable form of presentation and publication as well as different modes of distribution. In view of an explosive growth in the phenomenon of art(ist’s) publications and the number of publishers, Het Wilde Weten is presenting a selection during the WBM. The WBM represents an ideal opportunity to explore, bring along or exchange art(ist’s) books. Het Wilde Weten will be showing books published between 2010 and 2006.

Issue Three – Call for Submissions


Submissions are now open for  20×20 magazine Issue Three. Artists and writers are invited to propose work for the following sections:

WORDS - in the shape of fiction, essays, poetry
VISIONS – drawings, photography, visual projects
the BLENDER - where words and visions cross paths

The meta-words for Issue Three are: HARMONIA MUNDI

Writers are invited to submit works up to 1,500 words. Please submit up to 3 written pieces or poems.
Visual artists are encouraged to submit images keeping the format of the page in mind. Please send high resolution images (300 dpi), at least 30×30 cm in size. If you would like to submit a visual project consisting of a selection of images, send low res first.

Deadline: Monday 16 November 2009

Issue Three will be first published online in electronic format (see Issue Two here for reference), followed by a limited run of printed copies.

We regret that at present we are unable to pay authors for their work, however each contributor will receive the high res PDF of the magazine. Also, due to the large amount of submissions received, we are usually able to notify successful contributors only.
